How to play

- Avoid ENEMY ORBS at all costs

- Collect KEYS and use them to raise and lower doors.

- Collect NOVA BLASTS and use them to stun nearby orbs.

 - Collect DATA CHIPS and use them to train and deploy orbs.

- Collect five ORBITERS to move on to the next level.

 How To Raise Well-Mannered Orbs

1) You can determine an orb's natural instincts by deploying it and then watching it.  Preferably, you should do this during the earlier levels of the game.

2) Don't train an orb until you see what its natural instincts are.  Every orb's neural network is initialized randomly, meaning there is some risk involved.  For orbs that are completely evil, don't bother training them until you have amassed a great number of tokens.  For orbs that are neutral or good, try to train them in line with their natural instincts, it's much more effective that way.

3) Don't spam novas around neutral orbs.  It tells them that what they are doing is wrong.

4) Don't spread out your tokens evenly at first.  Focus your spending on improving one or two orbs, and then increase the number of trained orbs.  Weakly trained orbs are very unpredictable.

5) Don't spend your tokens exclusively on one orb.  Sure, it will consistently listen to you, but more than one orb is required to survive higher levels.  Also, the more you train an orb, the less it learns each time.

6) Finally, don't train all your orbs the same way.  For one, they won't all respond the same way to the training.  Secondly, there is little tactical value in only having one type of neutral orb.  For example, you could train 2 orbs to follow the enemy and lock doors, and another to follow you and unlock doors.  The key to a good combo is utilizing the natural instincts of each orb.

 Other Tips & Tricks

- The game pad is much easier to play with than the keyboard due to its analog nature.
- The keyboard controls were designed to allow the game to be played one-handed. (You can play and drink energy drinks at the same time!)
